Biography



Dr. Huda Al Doghaither is an associate professor in the Biochemistry Department of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has been working in academia for 14 years. 

In 2002, Dr. Al Doghaither started her carrier as a part-time technician in the Biochemistry Department of King Abdulaziz University. She was hired at Dr. Mohammed Hassan Kafi Polyclinic, where she was the laboratory director in 2005 and 2007. 

In 2007, she joined Dar Al-Hekma University as a lecturer in the General Education Department and became an assistant professor in the same department in 2008. In 2012, Dr. Al Doghaither moved to King Abdulaziz University, where she was hired as an assistant professor in the Biochemistry Department. She became an associate professor in 2018. Since 2016, she has been the coordinator of the Biochemistry Department for the Program of Evaluation and Quality Assurance of University Performance (EQAUP), and since 2012, she has been a member of the department’s National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) committee. She is a mentor in the university development Diploma program for university instructors since 2015. Dr. Al Doghaither is also a certified quality specialist of lean 6 sigma- green belt.
Dr. Al Doghaither has published more than 40 articles and reviews in several Saudi and international ISI journals with impact factors such as Biomed research international, Oncology letters, Saudi journal of biological sciences, Saudi medical journal, and annals of Saudi medicine; and attended more than 70 conferences and workshops in her field. Dr. Al Doghaither is a peer reviewer for many international journals and for King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) grants.
