Dr. Huda Al Doghaither is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at King Abdulaziz University, with over 18 years of academic experience. She has served as the Biochemistry Department Coordinator for the University Performance Evaluation and Quality Assurance Program (EQAUP) since 2016 and has been a member of the department’s National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) quality and accreditation committee since 2012. Additionally, she has been a mentor for several faculty members in the University Teaching Development Diploma Program since 2015.
Dr. Huda holds several professional certifications, including Certified Quality Specialist in Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt, Quality Practitioner Certification, and Certified Academic Accreditation Reviewer from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (NCAAA).
She has published over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers in journals indexed in ISI and has participated in more than 70 conferences and workshops covering various scientific fields, as well as specialized training in teaching skills development, pedagogy, research methodologies, and national academic accreditation requirements.
Additionally, she serves as a scientific reviewer for several international journals and as a reviewer for research grants at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). She has also worked as an external reviewer for all academic course files related to national academic accreditation at Dar Al-Hekma University in 2014.

Research Interests
Dr. Al Doghaither’s research interests lie in clinical biochemistry research related to obesity, insulin resistance, adipokines, endocrinology, metabolic syndrome, and cancer. In addition, she is passionate about complementary and alternative medicine, especially traditional folk medicine.
